Concessionary fees

Concessions and loans are available on all Skills Funding Agency accredited courses.

Part time students aged 16 – 18

100% remission from tuition will be granted to part-time students who are aged 16 – 18 and undertaking a government funded, accredited course. Students will be charged for costs of materials and exam fees.

Part time students aged 19 – 23

50% remission from tuition fees will be granted to part-time students who are aged 19 – 23 years and undertaking a government funded, accredited course. Students will be charged for costs of materials and exam fees.

Part time students aged 24+

25% remission from tuition fees will be granted to part-time students who are aged 24+ and undertaking a government funded, accredited course at Level 2. Students will be charged for costs of materials and exam fees. Excluding Apprenticeships

Anyone aged 24 and over and wanting to study at a Level 3 or 4 can apply for an Advanced Learning Loan on Accredited courses. Repayments for the loan will commence when the student is earning £21,000 or above. Excluding Apprenticeships

Payment for course fees

If your course fees are over £500 they may be payable by instalments. Please contact us for further information.

Financial assistance and funds for students

VAT

VAT is not payable on tuition fees.

Community Learning (CL)

We have one place per leisure course available at a discounted rate for those who are over 65 and in receipt of pension credits, unemployed or a low income family and in receipt of benefits. You may need to provide your own materials.

Cancellation and refunds

The college aims to keep enrolments open as late as possible, however there may be insufficient fee paying students to allow the courses to be run. In these instances the College reserves the right to cancel the course up to five working days before the course start date.
