Cancellation and refund policy 2016/17

Cancellation of course by College before the start 

  • Full refund of Tuition fee, Materials fee, Registration fee and Voluntary contribution                 

Student withdraws prior to start of course 

  • Full refund of Tuition fee, Materials fee, Registration fee and Voluntary contribution, less £15 cancellation fee

Student gives notice to withdraw within 2 weeks after the course has started or within 10% of the duration of the course (for short courses)

  • Full refund of tuition fee less £15 cancellation fee and voluntary contribution. No refund of Materials fee or Registration fee.

Student who withdraws after 2 weeks of start of course or after 10% of the duration of the course ( for short courses) 

  • No refund.              

Student who withdraws because of illness

  • *Pro rata refund less £15 cancellation fee and full refund of voluntary contribution. No refund of Materials fee or Registration fee. Refunds because of illness must be supported by a medical certificate. 
*Pro rata refunds will be based on termly attendance, for example: More than 15 weeks attendance= no refund; 10 to 15 weeks attendance = 1 term refund Up to 9 weeks attendance = 2 terms refund
 
*For short courses the pro rata refund will be calculated in a linear manner i.e. (Period not attended  x Tuition fee)/ full duration of course 

16 to 18 year old EFA funded students

  • Full refund of Voluntary Contribution and Refundable deposit. No refund of Materials fee or Registration fee.
